Does DAG Desk run my DAG or connect to my Airflow deployment?

No. DAG Desk does not execute your DAG, run pytest, or connect to any Airflow deployment. It works only from the file you paste, and the model is instructed never to claim it ran anything - it says 'this test asserts', never 'this test passes'.

What happens before I sign in?

A deterministic scan runs in your browser. Nothing leaves the page until you ask for a run, and the prescan reports the DAGs, tasks, edges and flags it found without an account and without spending anything.

What are the five lanes?

Audit reviews the DAG against Airflow authoring practice. Migrate reports what breaks on Airflow 3 and rewrites the DAG for it. Lineage works out what data the DAG reads and writes and annotates it with assets. Tests writes the pytest suite that guards the DAG. Diagnose root-causes a failing task from its log and patches it.
